Faceted strengthened poles are recommended for the installation of lighting devices when using self-supporting insulation (SIP) wires.
The posts are used as medium, angle, and end support lighting poles on highways, residential premises, yards, and streets. The poles are 7–12 meters high; however, the recommended height for SIP wires is up to 7 meters.
The maximum vertical and horizontal bracket outreach is 2.0 meters, recommended – 1.5 meters.
The luminaire’s weight must not exceed 15 kg, area – no more than 0.15 m2.
The post body is made from a steel sheet and has 8 facets.
The long service life of these poles is ensured by hot dip galvanizing as per ISO 1461:2009.
The quality of this European galvanizing method is much higher than the one of its counterparts; the surface of the pole is even and has no stains or imperfections.
On the streets, the posts must be mounted no further than 40 meters apart; the placing angle – no more than 90 degrees.
The maximum recommended SIP wire – 4×35. The posts are mounted on the foundation with an insert plate.
The foundation type depends on the height and diameter of the poles.
